Brainstorm a Topic

Narrowing the Topic
Students will pick the 1 topic they want most out of the 3 topics they outlined in the last class. Students will be shown how to search for facts about their topic on the Internet. Writing a good Lead

Kiddle, KidzSearch and Safe Search Kids are all safe search engines for kids. Students will use these search engines to search for
facts that support their opinion.

Students will have outlines to print for each class to help keep their essays organized. Learners will also need a pencil, paper, eraser and highlighter.
