Students will learn the importance of privacy, safety and security for social media and why it is important at every age and how it can affect them.
What students will learn:
1.	Identify, Demonstrate & Apply “Best Practices” for Social Media 
2.	List, Describe and demonstrate positive behaviors relating to social media & bullying 
       avoidance
3.    Identify and describe negative behaviors and the possible consequences related to bullying and 
        personal safety
3.    Create a personal and family social media and a personal safety & protection plan
4.    Review current and past personal behaviors and postings to social media and rate their safety 
       levels
5.    Identify friends & family members, both offline and online,  who demonstrate a good "wall of 
       protection"
6.     Students will conduct a family safety and security class in which they will teach siblings, parents, and grandparents the importance of privacy, safety and security in and around their homes, community and on social media

The class is structured with interactive activities, checklists, Q & A, videos, and personalized assignments...   each class will have an instructional period, an interactive activity, a Q&A session, a "return & report" period and end with a personalized assignment period.

Students will be supplied worksheets and specific age-appropriate subject-matter and reading materials 

Students will need an understanding of social media and internet access
