Our goals for each class are tailored to your child's needs but may include learning techniques to defeat writer's block, building writing confidence in general, improving essay structure, learning how to edit, etc.
I am a certified 6th grade ELA teacher and a professional freelance magazine writer with a BA in Writing, Literature and Publishing. Through several different programs, I work with students in grades K-8 in "real life," including middle school populations with higher social/emotional needs. I aim to create a creative, fun, and relaxed environment in my classroom so students can learn and express themselves effectively.
