Class will meet for 35 minutes each week to discuss Wednesday, homework, and formatting for articles including backlinks, adding images, and tags. Google Docs anonymous links will be provided for assignments.
Class 1: covers the layout of the class, what is expected, and how to pitch articles.
Homework: pitch an article idea about Wednesday in a private Outschool message to be approved to write.
Class 2: writing articles starts! This class will cover the tone of voice expected in...Students will learn writing a new style that includes different rules than academic writing.
I have been teaching film analysis since 2019 on Outschool. I have also worked as an independent contractor for CBR, Entertainment Weekly, and various other websites.
