Welcome to the Painting Panda Classroom: Watercolor Club subscription class! I'm Miss Liisi (Lee-C). So happy to have you joining class. This class makes watercolor painting a fun easy way to learn how to paint, learn to draw/ paint animals, plants, basic scenery for the animals, learn fun creative techniques for painting. This has been one of my more popular flex classes, and in person classes I've offered to my local Homeschool group, local community during the summer, and even with my adult private lessons. And now I'm finally able to turn it into a live class. I love teaching watercolor, it's a fun fluid medium where you can be incredibly creative. My favorite part about teaching art classes is when I get to see the world through the eyes of the students by viewing their interpretations of the assignments I give them in class. As mentioned in my teacher profile I have 14 years of experience teaching early education pre-K classes, in both North Carolina and Utah. I have been able to use my degrees in Visual Arts with a focus on Art History from NCSU and my Associate in Arts from Wake Tech Community College, to teach kids and adults: various art classes here in North Carolina for the past 7 years. With my scouting connections I have had 5 years experience teaching science and history classes in North Carolina and Florida. Whether it was as a Co-Op teacher for my local home school groups, Art merit Badge Counselor for the local Boy Scout clinic, teaching STEAM classes for Cub Scouts, Nail art and Jewelry Crafting to teenage girls in my church, or summer art classes through my business, The Painting Panda, I love being able to share what I have learned!
등록 시 1개의 파일을 볼 수 있어요.Supplies Needed: Watercolor paper pad size: 9 x 11 (or similar size) (NOT MULTI MEDIA PAPER) Please use thick watercolor paper (it won't rip or tear) Brush set (any brand) (Sizes: 1 large and 1 medium sized tear drop or rounded tip brush, 1 detail brush (can be flat tipped or pointy tipped), 1 large and 1 medium sized flat tipped brush, 1 XL (one inch) flat tipped brush) 6 brushes total Brushes need soft bristles (not the hard plastic, not hair bristles as they shed and ruin the paintings) Tablet watercolors set of 36 colors any brand (found on Amazon generally there are about 5 brands that I've seen that are under $10) Water in a cup or bowl Paper towels or a reusable rag (like a wash cloth or hand towel) Black gel pen or thin tipped black sharpie marker (thin is key) 1 inch Painter's tape or Washi tape (makes clean lines, doesn't rip paper) Changing these supplies, or not getting the supplies listed will mean different results in art quality for your students, as well as students being frustrated due to lacking in supplies. If you can't get what is on this list PLEASE let me know BEFORE you come to class.

Parents are welcome to help students during class, but need to be off screen during the class duration, as a safety policy Outschool asks teachers to enforce.
