They will build a heart pump in class. We will talk about ways to keep our hearts healthy. -2 small jars or cups (8 oz ish) glass or sturdy plastic is best! -water -red food coloring -2 bendy straws -a balloon with the neck cut off, we need both parts of the balloon (have an extra balloon handy in case) -tape/glue -a toothpick -a tray to work in -paper -writing utensils *parents, students might need help poking holes
