수업 소개
In this weekly only course, learners will explore their creative side using the user-friendly platform, Canva and participate in weekly-themed design challenges. Learners review to the core features of Canva. They'll practice how to navigate the interface, explore design elements like images, text, and shapes, and discover how to personalize their designs with editing tools with feedback from the course instructor. During each session, learners will be able to: -Apply basic design principles to gasp the fundamentals of composition (balance, arrangement) and text layout (placement, hierarchy) to create visually appealing and impactful graphics. -Approach design challenges creatively to develop problem-solving skills by tackling weekly design prompts with innovative solutions. -Collaborate on design projects (For group activities) to develop teamwork skills by collaborating with peers on design challenges and providing constructive feedback. Learners will have the opportunity to explore these topics through mini-lectures, interactive activities, discussions, and/or video clips. Learners will practice creating visually balanced and impactful graphics using composition and text layout techniques for each weekly challenge. In order to use Canva, a FREE email personal account will be required to create their account. If a learner is not old enough to create their own email account, a parent Canva account is acceptable for learners who are not able to open up an email account to create their own Canva account. None of the paid Canva features are required for this class, and the free Canva account will suffice. Young learners will need to know how to access their/your personal Canva account prior to the start of class.
