Learning Goals:

Students will learn, review, and practice:
-Literacy Skills, such as letter recognition, letter writing, phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, sight words, storytelling, pre-reading
-Math Skills, such as counting, numbers, shapes, patterns, sorting, addition, subtraction, measuring 
-Science and Social Studies, such as plants and animals, earth and space, the five senses, weather, seasons, community, maps
-Process and Social Skills, such as routines, classroom rules, following directions, friendship and sharing, emotional self-regulation 
-Art and Music, such as colors, mixing colors, coloring in the lines, using scissors, songs and rhymes

Students are encouraged to: 
-Watch the pre-recorded videos and do the hands-on activities
-Complete the Nearpod Lessons each week
-Make the weekly Art Project (projects are open to creativity and flexibility)

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students will complete an assessment activity on Nearpod so that the teacher can track the progress students are making in class. Students are also encouraged to take a picture of their hands-on activities and share as a comment on the classroom post of the day. 
There will also be a fun art project at the end of the week where students can use the skills they're learning to create process art.
