수업 소개
During our live, one-time class, we will learn ballet basics and put those movements together to create 2 simple, but, fun Unicorn and Mermaid routines! If your learner would like to bring a unicorn or mermaid (or both!) show-and-tell, we will begin with a short introduction and a chance to show the class your show-and-tell! Following introductions, we will begin to learn a few basic ballet moves that will be in our routines. We will dance to "The Unicorn Ballet Dance" and "Mermaid Ballet" during our class. Following class, I will send fun and informative coloring pages that will have unicorns, mermaids, and the ballet basics we learned in class together! =)

With any sort of movement or exercise, there is risk. Dancers should clear their dance space of any hazards, wear comfortable clothing, and bring water as needed. If there are any injuries or risks, the instructor (me) should be informed prior to class.

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
I offer discounts to siblings, love to work with groups that want to dance together online, and I am always willing to work with you on group discounts, multi-class discounts, and one-on-one private lessons!
