Ukulele lessons will focus on fundamentals of ukulele within the context of many genres of music. Students will learn how to read standard notation (sheet music), tablature, chord diagrams, and logical fingering to become fully versed in the written language of music and potentially lead to learning guitar. Books will be assigned in the beginning. We will use Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1 and/or Essential Elements for Ukulele. Other materials including original materials from the instructor will be included as students progress.
