Teen numbers can be tricky. In this class we will work on teen numbers the Montessori way. Students will work on numbers from 10 to 20, what makes a teen number, and how they are built. We will start with a quick review of the numbers 1 through 10, then we will work together with a Montessori printable Teen Board which will be sent the day before class.  To finish, we will play a Montessori game to help students finally understand teen numbers.  Students will take turns interacting with me while we manipulate the material.  If time allows, we will also practice writing the numbers.
An adult should be present off camera or should watch the video to learn how to use the material in order to be able to continue practicing with the child. 
You're welcome to use your wooden board and bead bars if you have them.
