Students who are visual/spatial learners would love this hands-on class! There are puzzles that involve Roman numerals, so please make sure that your learner knows them before class. Those that love a challenge will also thrive. Students will make designs with toothpicks and then remove some to make a new design by listening to the instructions.  You will need access to toothpicks, a flat surface and your best problem solving. If time permits, students could make up puzzles of their own or could do so after class to astonish their friends and family members. Example instructions: Remove 8 toothpicks to get 2 triangles.
