수업 소개
The class focuses on techniques used to evaluate limits when direct substitution results in the indeterminate form 0/0. Specifically, factoring, rationalizing, and finding a common denominator to eliminate zero in the denominator. The class format will be an informal assessment of prior knowledge, interactive lecture, individual practice as formative assessment, whole group discussion, and homework practice. A graphing calculator will be helpful for exploration. A graphing calculator can be accessed online at Desmos.com.
