In this semester-long course, students will learn basic forms of creative writing. At the end of the class, they will have a portfolio of writing samples. They will also be provided with resources for publication if they are interested in pursuing this outlet. This schedule is a rough estimate of the semester curriculum. I am a certified English teacher and have participated in creative writing for most of my life, including formal classes, writing clubs, National Novel Writing Month, and personal study. I have taught diverse learners in a classroom setting for several years.
