In this class, learners will read a passage in the active voice and together, we will change the passage into the passive voice. I will ask the learners to intuit this exercise. Next, I will examine the theory of how the passive voice is formed. Then, I will give the learners a passage and they will transform it into the passive voice without any help from me. This lesson will be taught by me as the subject specialist, and will be an ongoing conversation between the learners and me. No prior knowledge is required. This lesson is suitable for ESOL learners as well as native English speakers. All learners are welcome.
