6학년 수학의 핵심

Applying the skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division expands greatly in middle school. 

Whether your child is going into the 6th grade or needs a review of 6th grade skills before starting 7th grade, this class is appropriate.

Pre-algebra can be overwhelming for many students.  

Student activities during each session of this class will center on solving problems--including word problems--related to fractions, decimals, percents, integers, order of operations, expressions and one variable equations.

Class #1: Fractions, decimals and percents 
Class #2: Integers (positive and negative numbers) and order of operations
Class #3: Expressions, combining like terms, and one variable equations



Students will be encouraged to take notes and can even volunteer to create problems for others in the class to solve. (Of course, students will need to have the answers to their problems in order to check everybody else's answers.)
