This is an on-going class. I will facilitate one of these classes each week. You may join us at any point in this on-going series. I’ll post weekly what week we are on so you know what materials to gather. This way, you can join us for just one class or two or ten or 20. Here are examples of six classes that cover the general materials used for most classes. Once enrolled, I’ll give you a list of all classes & materials. All classes use play dough and play dough tools. The other materials are things you can gather around the house or yard. December 2022 & January 2023 Play Dough Worms & Leaves Materials needed: play dough Play dough cutter (play dough knife or scissors) or even a butter knife or popsicle stick or something that can cut through play dough Real leaves that could make a good imprint on play dough Play Dough Nest & Eggs Materials needed: Play dough Feathers yarn or pipe cleaners or string Twigs / small sticks Rolling pin (or thick marker to use as a roller) Play Dough Faces Materials needed: Play dough Rolling pin Play dough tools Materials around the house that would make good additions to play dough faces like : Feathers, yarn, string, bottle caps, corks, Legos, straws, pom poms, etc Play Dough Sculptures Materials needed: play dough Collect materials for sculpture (whatever you have around the house.) Here are some ideas: Corks, bottle caps, straws, popsicle sticks, toothpicks, sticks, stones, shells, pieces of fabric, pinecones, foam pieces, Legos, building blocks, etc. Play Dough and Toys Play dough Your favorite small toys (like Legos, toy animals, blocks, vehicles, dolls, etc) General play dough tools Play Dough & Shapes materials: Play Dough Play dough tools (especially roller and cutter) a cup for cutting circles Optional: cookie cutter shapes a piece of paper and a crayon Ramps, Mazes & A Treasure Hunt materials: -Play dough -Play dough tools -10 coins -A cookie tray or school tray (something that has a lip around the edges) -A marble, small bouncy ball, ping pong ball, or bead that can roll. -A toilet paper roll or paper towel roll or tube (it’s ok if you just don’t have this. We can improvise) -a few wooden blocks or something you can use as the top of a ramp (cardboard, a container, etc.) -a toy car (optional if you would rather just use a ball)
