Learners need a pair of scissors and something to color the cake with. Crayons, paint, chalk, markers or whatever they like to work with. 

Heads up, when you print the two pages, make sure that you choose the option for the cake and the strip of flames and smoke to go to the edges of the 8.5x11 paper.  Otherwise, it will be very small, in the middle of the paper and difficult for your learner to cut and color. 

Helper adults you'll need to print just one of the 4 cake coloring page from the PDF. file attached to your welcome email and the strip of candles printed out.   You'll need to do this before class starts. There are 4 different cakes, one has flowers, one has dinosaurs, one is plain and the other says "Happy Birthday" to choose from.    

 Your learner may also need a little help cutting on the dotted lines (not through the top of the page) and weaving in the strip of paper but if at all possible please let them try first since this is set up specifically to help them work on their hand eye coordination, cutting skills as well as their coloring skills.
