In this class we will explore the world of some of the amazing people from history. We will discuss their childhood, their influences, and what they did that left a mark on history. We will discuss the differences between them, and the time period that they lived in. This class will be broken up into 8 week classes. Each class will consist of a powerpoint lecture that will include recordings, pictures, and film. There will also be a guided discussion over what we have learned and the...
In this class we will explore the world of people writers, musicians, and actors. We will discuss their childhood, their influences, and what they did that left a mark on history. We will discuss the differences between them, and how the time period that they lived shaped their lives. No previous knowledge of these people or events is needed.
I have been an educator on Outschool since February of 2018. I have my MBA and MHA, both of which have taught me the value of conducting research and asking questions. I have a passion for history and learning. You can usually find me in the middle of 2-3 books or watching a documentary.

There may be discussions about discrimination, violence, and death, but these will be handled in an age appropriate manner. We will be discussing The Holocaust and why certain people were persecuted during WWII. There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
