Students will become more familiar with four different periods of art history and the specific criteria that identifies each period. 
Students will become more familiar with the changing role of felines and humans throughout history.
Students will become familiar with creating art projects with the same subject matter in different styles and media. 
Students will learn constructive criticism skills in evaluating their own work and the work of fellow classmate

Julie Moses is an artist and photographer in Palm Desert, CA, specializing in fine art, photography, and art education. In addition, she has been a homeschool educator for 16 years. She has taught children's art classes privately and through local afterschool programs with an emphasis on cross-curricular connections and unit study.  She is especially fascinated with using art as a way to explore math concepts and is a proud cat parent to two very lazy cats named Frazier and Princess. Her photography has appeared in Parents Magazine and numerous photography blogs.

Students will be expected to complete the weekly project and upload images of the finished pieces to the classroom for teacher and peer feedback.
Students will expected to watch assigned videos and complete in-video quizzes.
Students will be expected to engage in weekly art analysis discussions with the classroom. 
All homework is due the day before the new week begins.
