I was blessed to have found a class for my kiddo many, many years ago on storytelling. I was awestruck by the experience and the art form. One of my biggest takeaways as a parent from that experience was how much of an impact it had on his self -confidence, willingness to speak in public, a new desire to research stories and their history.

Later in my life, I wanted to add speaking to my resume so I took some speaking classes. But what I learned in those classes wasn't as moving or inspiring as what I experienced when I watched storytellers doing keynote speeches. I searched out storytelling for myself. These days my speeches have a few dashes of storytelling.  Now I want to help shine the light on this amazing tradition that is full of educational fun. I want to help inspire children to find their voice and confidence with storytelling.
