Students will learn about Frank Lloyd Wright, his work and the house, Falling Water. They will learn the basic architectural elements that are used to design both the interior and exterior of a house. They will also learn about upcycling materials and how to use things that can be found in their homes to create amazing designs.
I am a practicing architectural designer in the world of residential design. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design and a Master's Degree in Architecture. I have been sharing my passion of architecture through architectural camps and classes for children since 1999.

Cardboard - could be an old gift box, amazon box, shoe box, etc. Thinner is better for cutting. **Falling water is a series of rectangles so smaller rectangular boxes would be great too - i.e. soap box, crayon box, etc. Construction Paper Scrap Paper Glue (preferably Regular (Elmer's or similar) glue vs glue stick as we will be glueing heavier items in this class) Tape Scissors Markers/crayons Found Materials: toilet paper rolls, tissue paper, buttons, beads, lids, yarn, stickers, popsicle sticks, sticks, etc.
Students will be using glue, scissors, markers, and other crafting tools in this camp. Parental guidance is suggested for safety of the student.
