In this beginning reading class, students will learn the sounds associated with a few letters and how to blend these sounds to read consonant-vowel-consonant words. We will concentrate on a one-word family in each class. The students will be involved in engaging activities throughout the class. Students will learn to blend and read consonant-vowel-consonant words in the "at" word family. Students will learn to read some words and write the beginning letter for several "at" words.
