Gobble Gobble! Get ready for Thanksgiving in this playful and fun, kids yoga class taught by the Founder of Hop Along Yogi Kids yoga and inspired by all things Thanksgiving! Class will begin with a short introduction to yoga and students will have an opportunity to go around the Zoom sharing what they're thankful for. Next, we'll do a short warm-up to stretch out our muscles followed by a turkey dance which is an active movement exercise that will wake-up our bodies and our brains. The...
Kids will learn a variety of Thanksgiving-themed yoga poses that improve balance, coordination, and flexibility. Class instructions will enhance listening skills and body awareness. Positive affirmations will build self-confidence and breathing techniques promote mindfulness.
