🦃 Learners will be directed in a step-by-step DIY (Do It Yourself) Thanksgiving Craft. We will be using basic supplies from around your house to create a personalized craft that your learner can be proud of. I always welcome mistakes and encourage learners to find ways to use the mistake to transform their craft a one of a kind piece of art. In my classes, students are able to express themselves in creative ways unleashing their inner artist. We explore various ways to DIY crafting and through directed drawings. We will be having many "Mistake Parties" to talk about and embrace the mistakes we make and find ways to learn from them and foster a growth mindset.
I am very passionate about teaching and learning through unique ways. My approach to teaching is very positive, uplifting, and full of optimism while encouraging students to have fun along the way and connect with other students in the class. Every student brings something special to our class and is able to participate at their own comfort level.
I have been teaching 3-5th grade, in-person and virtually, the last 6 years.
