수업 소개
In this ongoing tap class, beginning-level students will learn a variety of dance moves and choreography. Kids will have a lot of fun dancing to their favorite songs. New choreography each week. This is a beginning-level class, no previous knowledge is necessary. As this is a combination class, every other week will focus on one style. No tap shoes required, but if you have them that will be great. Students will be up and moving the entire class! Class Format: 5 Minutes: Introduction/Warm-Up 5 Minutes: Overview of some moves/vocabulary 5 Minutes "Across the floor" practice of our new moves 15 Minutes: Learn approximately 20 seconds of dance choreography focusing on a new move. We will use Disney and Kidz Bop versions of popular songs. Each section and move will be broken down piece by piece. At the end of class, we will have a final "performance" and students will pretend they are performing in a dance recital in their living room! April 25-May 1: Shuffles and Flaps May 2-May 8: Traveling Steps May 9-15: Time Steps Basics May 16-22: Paradiddles New material will be learned every week. Feel free to join at any time.
