Second grade is a great year to grow! In this class your kid will have the opportunity to reinforce reading and writing concepts that will help them to strengthen their development. Each class is not dependent on the other, so you can choose those that better fit your students' unique needs. 

Using the I do, You do, We do Approach, the student will have the opportunity to practice second grade Spanish skills. The teacher will encourage participation by asking prompting questions and will complete the lesson with an assessment game.

Each class will follow the format:
- Presentation of skill (why is it important)
-Examples and supports
-Independent practice

The topics/skills that will be discussed per week are as follows:

Week of June 12th - Closed Syllables (sílabas trabadas)
Week of June 19th - Sight Words (palabras de uso frecuente)
Week of June 26th - Proper and Common Nouns (nombres propios y comunes)
Week of July 3rd - Verb Tenses (verbos)
Week of July 10th - Adjectives and Adverbs (adjetivos y adverbios)
Week of July 17th - Punctuation (puntuación)
