We will explore the beauty of watercolor and create this translucent painting. Students will learn to layer colors. Proper brush care will be discussed as well as how to blend colors with them. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, brown and black.
