We will explore the beauty of watercolor and create this translucent painting. Students will learn to layer colors.  Proper brush care will be discussed as well as how to blend colors with them. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. We will have some basic colors to use and mixing our own colors will be encouraged.  A little color theory is always thrown into the lesson.  My teaching style is to give enough instruction to keep everyone on track while letting each person's individuality be expressed as well.
