In this two-week course we will study plot and character development using the novel My Neighbor Totoro by Tsugiko Kubo, based on the Studio Ghibili movie by the same name. This course is geared toward strong readers who enjoy reading. Students will complete the reading assignments outside of the class, though we will read segments together during our discussions.
