Travel through time and see the world with Mrs. A this summer! Each week, we will travel through time to learn an exciting story from history, then travel across the globe as we learn about that country today. 

To start class, we will begin with community time and an introduction to the topic with our question of the day. Next, we will hear a little-known story from history. We will identify where in the world that story came from, and find it on the globe, before diving into that country today, using videos, photos, and discussion. We will build connections between our own experiences and those of the past as well as cultures across the world today. 

Classes are discussion-based with lots of laughter and fun as we learn. Mrs. A puts relationships first in her classroom, and places a high value on the student experiences. She uses slides to bring learning to life, engaging questions to connect learning to personal experiences, and collaborative activities for students to learn socially and relationally.
