OVERVIEW: Looking for something fun for your little learners to join in on during the summer, this is just the class! In our summer circle time, learners will participate in sing-alongs, going over their ABCs, show and tell, and simple art projects. Within our fun time together, your learner will also practice their social skills. I graduated with a bachelor's in Psychology, with a specific focus on adolescent Psychology. My Teaching Style and Expertise: My goal as a teacher is to make each student feel seen, loved, appreciated, and encouraged throughout our class time. I desire each student to leave class feeling better and brighter than when they logged in. I believe in positive encouragement, and helping my students find their confidence in who they are, along with making sure they have fun during our time together. I graduated with a bachelor's in Psychology, specifically focused on adolescent Psychology. Bringing this information into my classrooms helps me to connect with the students, grow their social abilities, understand where they are within their formative years, and create a more inviting and safe environment for every student to learn. I have a bubbly, bright, and fun personality, and I love to spend time connecting with kids to help them grow. It is one of my greatest joys to get to teach.
Learners may be asked to bring some paper and crayons to class once in a while for activities. This won't be required each week, but I will post in the classroom during the weeks we will use these materials :)
Parents: As our little learners sometimes have trouble focusing, especially when meeting through a screen, please make sure your learner attends class from a quiet room. Background noise, such as TV, talking, playing, etc. can make it difficult for other learners to focus in class. It would be a great help to have each learner join from a quiet space.
