Paint this gorgeous water lily painting inspired by Claude Monet! No experience necessary! Students will work with acrylic on canvas to create their own masterpieces and will layer onto their paintings each day of the camp. They will learn skills like colour mixing, layering paint, drawing water lilies, painting brushstrokes like the Impressionists, and more! They will also learn some fun facts about the artist Monet along the way! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close-up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the other artists in the class. It will be a warm and welcoming environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! Here is what students will work on each day: Day 1: Paint the background. Day 2: Paint foliage and reflections. Day 3: Paint bridge and water lilies. Hope to see you there! 🎨
