Hello, I'm Elizabeth, and I love stories! In my classes, I will use my love of storytelling and my creative writing expertise to teach pre-reading and pre-writing skills to young children. I've been working with children for about nine years as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, and online teacher. As a writer for children and young adults, I know how important stories are for our world. I want to help your child develop a love for reading and writing through the magical world of stories.

For the cupcake craft you will need: construction paper (in several different colors) half of a paper plate markers, crayons washable paint or watercolors Small objects for decoration: gems, glitter glue, buttons, stickers, pom poms scissors, white glue Students are welcome to dress up as a unicorn or a princess and bring a unicorn or princess toy to class with them if they would like!

Note about the mute/unmute settings: Since this is a class for young learners, I will be using the mute/unmute button during class so that everyone can hear me and so that everyone gets a chance to speak in class. Before class, it would be helpful to either teach your child how to mute/unmute, have an adult nearby to mute/unmute for your child, or to change the settings so that the teacher can control the mute/unmute settings for your child.
