**The stories are written in Polish and I will be reading/speaking in Polish for the most part** We will begin by introducing ourselves in Polish and then I will begin reading the story while sharing the book on my screen for the students. I will pause at various moments during the story to ask comprehension based questions and discuss reactions or predictions that the students may have. Once the story is finished, we will discuss the ending and whether students have any ideas for alternative story lines. If there is time leftover, the students will be invited to participate in a drawing activity from a specific scene in the book, students can participate on the zoom whiteboard or use their own paper and crayons. These are the stories we will read throughout the 10 weeks! The Ugly Duckling Three Little Pigs Little Red Riding Hood Hansel and Gretel Cinderella Snow White The Princess and the Pea Beauty and the Beast Rapunzel Sleeping Beauty ~~ Zaczniemy od przedstawienia się po polsku, a następnie zacznę czytać bajeczke, udostępniając uczniom książkę na ekranie. Będe się zatrzymywać w różnych momentach opowieści, aby zadawać pytania oparte na zrozumieniu i omawiać reakcje lub przewidywania, jakie mogą mieć uczniowie. Hello!
My name is Rose Bobiarska. I work with elementary students to develop their understanding of content covered in school curricula. I also have experience in helping students who struggle with dyslexia and dyscalculia.
My first goal for every student is that they are up to speed on everything that is going on in their classes at school, and that they go to school feeling confident about what they're learning.
Once we have that taken care of, I work to draw out the best quality of work from every student, whatever that may mean for them individually.
I hold my students to high standards, which I set to reinforce the progress they make on their learning journey.
The subject areas I work in most often are language arts (reading and writing), math and science. However, whenever students come with struggles in other areas, there is almost always a way for us to work together still!리뷰
