- Reading provides many benefits (listening, comprehension, etc.) - Colouring pages allow them to work on fine motor skills and creativity - Discussion time allows them to learn socialization skills such as taking turns, listening, and speaking to others - Book discussion allows for them to practice basic book comprehension principles This class is meant to allow learners to discover the joy and benefits of reading.
I have been working in preschool and early childhood class rooms for over 10 years. I am now a stay at home mom to my 3 children and run a home based preschool. I love circle time and story time, they are my two favourite times of the day! It is the perfect blend of fun and learning all in one. I strive to find a real connection with each of my students and want them to leave each of my classes feeling seen, heard, and excited about learning.
