During this storytime adventure, students will enjoy a fun and interactive read-aloud by the teacher. Students will be encouraged to interact with the teacher via engaging in questioning throughout the class. So shake off those tutus and wear them to class! The stories are tutu cute!!! Class time will be structured in the following way: 1) welcome & greetings 2) pre-reading questions 3) teacher read aloud, with interactive questioning to enhance comprehension 4) post-reading reflection...
1) Respecting other students: listening, speaking one at a time when possible 2) To ask and answer questions as they feel prompted [teacher led as needed] 3) Use of illustrations to tell a story
Do you have a favorite stuffed animal or doll, a dancing bear? Do you have a tutu or ballet outfit! You can wear it to class if you would like! We can show & tell our animal/doll and outfits.
Please make sure your student has ample area around them to act out the story and to do a little dancing (like the characters in the book).
