주당 1시간. Prior to each class, please read along with your child the chapter assigned in the description. Each class will cover 2 chapters except the last class, with only one. Additional summary of the next in the series will be read by me to see if an interest is there for continuing classes. Note the Chapters to read at home prior to class. This will help your child's confidence in reading in front of new friends. This is optional, however. 1st Week. Class 1: Read Chapters 1 -Short, Shorter, Shortest & 2 -Shrink, Shrank, Shrunk 1st Week. Class 2: Read Chapters 3 -Up, Up, Up & 4 -Stinkerbell, Shrinkerbell 2nd Week. We will have a brief ice breaker to greet one another. In this reading class for ages 6-9, we will open the course by reading Meagan McDonald's cute story of the Moody kid who keeps shrinking! Stink wants to get bigger! What will happen to him? Our video class will meet each Monday and Friday afternoon for two weeks. For class, students will need to have a physical, digital, or audio copy of Stink, The Incredible Shrinking Kid, by Megan McDonald. Each person will get the opportunity to read. We will take turns reading, popcorn style. Popcorn style is where we take turns reading. Each reader reads one page, then I will draw a name to prompt the next reader. I'm here ready to help on those hard words! The challenging words can be displayed on the screen to help us remember. A microphone will be required. I plan to cover approx 30 pages each class. Each person will get the opportunity to read. A brief discussion before the class ends will allow questions from the learners. Your child will be practicing reading in turn. I can't wait to see your reader in the classroom! We will have fun with Stink adventures! Note the Chapters to read at home prior to class. Hello! Greetings from eastern South Carolina!
