This will be an experimental class where students use their creativity and experience how chemistry causes the properties of an item to react when added to another. Students will observe reactions as the properties of the dish soap react with the fat in the milk. Great experimental class! A wonderful hands-on lesson where students observe reactions as the properties of various items mix. Students will develop theories, test their predictions, and discuss their findings as well as use an observation sheet to record and draw parts of the experiment.
I served the Director of Ancillary Services tasked with planning and executing summer and winter camps at a PK-12 school. I hold a degree in Psychology and an MBA, a 150-hour master teacher certificate for teaching English as a second language courses and have served as a college counselor for almost 5 years advising students and families on the college acceptance process. I have taught middle school-math, reading and experimental science, have been an academic administrator in a Pre-K 12 school and was a founding director of a Learning Center.
