This is an open-topic mentoring program where your learner can meet with Teacher Tom for assistance with projects, homework, brainstorming, Kerbal Space Program, Boy/Girl Scout badge help, Arduino kits, Snap Circuits, Woodworking & more! Parents must contact the teacher in advance of enrolling to request a mentoring session on a topic or project of their choice. Learners will make progress on their individual projects with mentoring help from the teacher.
Teacher Tom is a lifelong Space & Science Enthusiast, Rocket Science Teacher, Professional Finish Carpenter, Electronics Whiz & Licensed Ham Radio Operator with over 14 years teaching youth as a Mentor, Teacher, Scout Leader, Camp Counselor, Sports Coach, and more. Tom has attended school in 3 countries and has good friends from many cultures. Tom has been recently featured as one of Outschool's EPIC featured teachers for his "Passion-driven" Teaching.
Supplies will be determined on a project-by-project basis.
