The International Space Station (ISS) is a multi-nation construction project that is the largest single structure humans ever put into space. It was designed over many years and has housed 240 individuals from 19 countries. It also takes the title of most expensive object ever built! In this hands on class, we will learn all about the ISS, what it's purpose is, what it is being used for, and what the future holds. We will learn through a lesson, pictures, and videos. Then your student will design their own space station through the engineering design  process. 

We will spend a big part of class designing and creating our space station. Each child will create their own through their imaginations and their own creative design. Please make sure to have supplies for class so the children can create! This can all be created with things from around the house! Please check the supply list. This class is part lesson and part design and create. Children learn best when they can use their hands and imagination! Join us in this fun class! 

Please note, a design will not be sent to your student, they will completely design their space station using the things we will talk about in class.
