Thank you for your interest in this class right now I am working on splitting this class into several parts for ease of booking. There is just too much to cover that I believe to be important that won't fit into one class so I want to allow families to work through the different classes as their schedule allows. In the meantime please check out my “Super Safety Camp” that I'm running through the summer as it Is the same content that will be in my one-time classes....
I have a degree in elementary education and have been working with kids through teaching, coaching, and childcare for over 15 years. I have extensive experience and expertise working with ESL learners. Also, I am raising three boys of my own ( ages 2, 6 & 9). I am often inspired to create classes that cover subjects I find important in my own parenting journey. I am a lifelong learner and an avid reader. To support my curriculum development I dedicate significant time to reading, listening, and learning about the most current research on child development, teaching, and parenting. I have not only had these talks with my children, but many other children I have had the opportunity to mentor, coach, or care for. I have also been a huge advocate in talking to children early about their bodies and body autonomy, and safety. Please see what other parents have said about this class in the review section.

I will post a printable booklet for your learner(s) to complete and review with their adults after class.
In class, I discuss touching in a basic way (kiss, hug, sitting too close, touching leg, tickling). I will not discuss inappropriate sexual touch, but highly recommend this class be a segway to that conversation. My teaching style allows for children to be drawn into learning about the topic without feeling scared. A perfect balance of fun and seriousness. Please see sources for more information.
