Would your learner like to farm with friends? Would they like to enjoy Stardew Valley in a group setting? Then this is the class! If your learner is looking for a safe and fun place to have the opportunity to join a co-op room in the game or play solo and socialize, then this is the class for them! This will be a friendly environment for learners to be able to cooperate together on a farm, compete in friendly competitions, learn how to improve in the game and upgrade their farm, find new items in the game, enjoy socializing with friends, and talk and discuss what they like about Stardew Valley. At the beginning of each class, learners will have the opportunity to share what part of the story they have completed, any secrets they have uncovered, what characters they have been playing with, what their favorite part of the game is, and any Stardew Valley news they’ve seen. Then, if learners choose to, they can join private co-op rooms where they can socialize and play! PLEASE NOTE: - Please make sure your learner has an edition on one of these platforms if they wish to join: PC, Mobile, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation. - Cross play with Stardew Valley CANNOT be supported between PC, Mobile, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation. (For example a learner on PC can’t join a learner on the Switch) - If your learner chooses to join a co-op game, only 4 players can join one world. - If your learner is playing on a console that requires the internet, please make sure they have an online subscription so that they will be able to join other worlds. - Lastly, if possible, please ensure that the student is playing on a different device than which the zoom call will be on. CLASS SCHEDULE ALL SECTIONS Week of April 28th - Introductions and discussions about the game Week of May 5th - Discussions about favorite aspects of the game Week of May 12th - Discussion about game progression Week of May 19th - Friendly competition Class will continue to progress after these dates, and there will be even more topics we will discuss and cover after these dates! Learners will also be encouraged to share during class: Stardew Valley videos and ideas Stardew Valley memes StardewValley stories/fanfiction Cosplay Any Stardew Valley Art Any questions or help they need with the game Streamers they love to watch AND MORE! There is always room to extend past the realm of thinking usual to regular gameplay into other spheres of creativity, and my goal is to encourage learners to be comfortable to share their hobby and passions with the class.

By keeping our class sizes smaller, we ensure that each learner receives personalized attention and doesn't feel rushed or lost in larger classes.
We are committed to helping learners grow in all aspects of life, encouraging them to share their passions and engage in NEW and EXCITING club activities that are updated every season. These activities provide learners with new ways to interact with games, ignite their excitement, and encourage collaboration with their peers.

ABOUT MISS MAY...
As the leader of May's Gaming World, Miss May is an exceptional educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing (2014), a Teaching Certificate (2015), and a Graduate Degree in Cross Cultural Communication and Education (2020). She taught 2nd Grade for three years before transitioning to online education in 2018, where she has been teaching for the past five years. Miss May is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment in all her classes, ensuring that learners feel comfortable, valued, and included in all settings. She has experience teaching learners of all ages, and is currently also working as Nanny for two wonderful toddlers.
Miss May is widely recognized by learners and boasts more than 300 reviews as the #1 top engaging teacher on Outschool. With over 2,000 completed classes through Ongoing Clubs, she has nurtured long-lasting relationships with many learners, some of whom have been with her for three years and counting. Miss May's extensive experience in the gaming world since 2000 has endowed her with a deep understanding of various games.
On a personal note, Miss May enjoys writing, reading, gaming, traveling, and learning about different cultures. She also takes delight in showcasing her Goldendoodle and two fuzzy bunnies. Miss May is eager to learn about the passions of others, including your learner's!
