This class will cover many fundamental kicks, including Crescent kicks, Hook kicks, Round kicks, Push kicks, Axe kicks, among others. // This class is adjacent to the Capoeira curriculum offered by Coach Eurico. To train multiple days a week, or to broaden progression, I recommend signing up additionally for Capoeira and/or Cartwheel Tricks. // This class is 45 minutes long, with the first 15 minutes being a kick specific workout. The second half of the class will focus on different kicks...
Students will learn the 3 different types of kicks: Linear, Inside, and Outside Kicks. This will include, but is not limited to: Front Kick, Push Kick, the Crescent Kicks Armada & Meia Lua, Round Kick, Hook Kick, Compass Kick, and Axe Kick. Class skills do not explicitly build upon previous classes. Each class is aimed to strengthen foundation in basic Martial Arts Kicks.
Coach Eurico has personal experience in all of these avenues of expression, namely in Marvel Universe LIVE Touring Arena Stunt Spectacular, where he performed as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Chitauri in 2016 across the United States and Europe. Coach Eurico is also recognized worldwide for his prowess in Martial Arts Tricking and Capoeira. This class does not cover any skills that are particularly dangerous to the user, but this class does teach skills that can be used be used offensively and so should be handled with care! Coach Eurico encourages using these kicks for the purposes of Martial Arts Tricking, cinematic martial arts, movie stunts, and/or physical theater endeavors.
