In this beginner level course, students will learn 8 Spanish colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Green, Purple, Black and White) numbers 1-10 in Spanish (more... if time allows)! We will spend five minutes of our class introducing ourselves and talking about our favorite super heroes and then I will teach the lesson. The lesson will be taught using a Powerpoint presentation. Each slide will include pictures of Superheroes along with colors and numbers. We will spend time on each slide counting...
The goal of this class is to learn eight colors in Spanish, as well as Spanish numbers, 1-10. However, based upon the class, we will try and learn more! To accomplish this goal, we will have a lot of fun counting some of our favorite superheroes, identifying the colors of their costumes and playing bingo. I want to ensure your student has a lot of fun and that this class opens a desire to learn even more Spanish!
I attended the Spanish Language Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica for one year. After my year in Costa Rica, I live in the Andes Mountains of Peru. It was a great time of teaching students aged 5-17 years old.
Please bring coins (or something similar) to class for our game of Bingo. Included in this class are six Bingo sheets, so you will be able to play with your student and family after class! This will encourage continued practice and help your student to continue absorbing what your student learns in class.
