This course is fully conducted in Spanish with an emphasis on language development and cultural appreciation. It combines interactive lectures and discussions with language instruction towards fluency and vocabulary expansion. Each week we will explore one country or a famous city. We will visit some of its most iconic places via virtual tours, including both natural exploration as well as architectural landmarks. This curriculum was created by our team of teachers with the following background: a PhD in Spanish culture, anthropology studies & teaching experience on social studies.
These materials have been created by using a combination of textbooks for Middle School such as Geography Student Edition HOLT MCDOUGAL, and manuals on culture such as: "All Ye Lands: World Cultures And Geography by Rollin Lasseter," A Short History of Humanity: A New History of Old Europe by Johannes Krause, etc
