Spanish for Kiddos: 2:1 Clases Semiprivadas (Semi-private Classes: 8-12yrs old) The goal of these Ongoing classes is to create a fun, interactive classroom environment where your child along with their sibling and or friend will be exposed and introduced to Spanish together with me based on the topics below. The Semi-Private Classes we will cover the following list of topics: 1. Week of Oct 30: Learn mis Animales #1 2. Week of Nov 6: Learn mi Familia #1 3. Week of Nov 13: Learn mis Colores #1 4. Each present will benefit from individualized, personal help and guidance from me to practice key vocabulary, form and use short sentences. During class, we will use pictures, props, activities, illustrations and talk time all with the aim to encourage the group to have fun while at the same time learning Spanish! I look forward to having your group of learners join me in my “Spanish for the Kiddos” series of classes together for your child to start their very own journey with Spanish. ¡Vámonos! (Let’s go!).

¡Hola! Hello! My name is Le Schawn Ward from Canada, welcome parents and learners to my Outschool profile/bio.
Here on Outschool we are encouraged to teach what we are passionate about, not only IS Spanish one of my passions but also teaching and helping others is too.
Regardless of the subject, learning level or ability, my motto is: If you’re not having fun then you’re not learning! That is what you can expect for your child in ALL my classes, they will enjoy themselves while learning.
Helping others has always been something that brings me a lot of inner joy, so I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity on Outschool to combine my love for Spanish and with helping others to learn and to speak one of the most spoken and popular languages in the world!
Now let’s get down to the ‘nitty-gritty’. I have my bachelor's degree in Education, minoring in Language Education, hold both a TEFL and TESOL certification, have a background in theatre arts, TV and commercials and I am completely fluent speaking and writing Spanish. I also have extensive public speaking skills, having done so in front of crowds of over 3,000+ people!
Since 2002, I have been teaching children, youth and adults alike. In an online setting since 2018 I have been teaching children from ages 3-16 and to date have completed over 7,500 online classes totaling over 18,500 students! In my volunteer educational work, I have been teaching people of all different ages in Spanish since 2007.
Now that the ‘nitty-gritty is out of the way, I can’t wait to meet your child/children and let the fun begin!
