I truly believe knowing a second language is an immense advantage. The advantage to communicate with others that speak that language. It gives students more tools to succeed in life. Therefore, I encourage you to motivate your child to learn a second language. For example, the Spanish language.This course will be taught in Spanish. However, when necessary I will translate in English. Each week there will be a new theme. Each meeting we will start with greeting each other. Then we will review the calendar. Talk about the theme of the week. Show different visual aids to represent the theme of the week. Students will be encourage to repeat a sentence using vocabulary words in Spanish. However it is not required to do so. If you think your child will feel uncomfortable speaking in class please let me know. Students will be provided with a worksheet each class meeting that goes along with the theme of the week. We will work together on the worksheet. We will end the meeting with any questions students might have.
