Students will be able to learn and practice social skills that will help communicate better with others, identify emotions in themselves and others, solve problems with others, work through social anxieties or difficulties, and more. 

I am a recently retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a focus on children and adolescents. I taught material identical to this in public schools and group programs for 3 years, and this class is adapted from the classes I led there. During my time in public schools, I adapted social skills and life skills materials for students from Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. There will also be resources made available to students to work through on their own or as reference material based on some of the classes available.
