수업 소개
Beginning with story time, I will read "Sir Cumference and All the King's Tens" by Cindy Neuschwander. Then with a place value video clip, we will examine the importance of numbers and place value. We will discuss what place value is, why it is formed, and why it is important to understand. The students will then create a place value tent of their own. Finally, I will provide a link enrichment activity for after class to continue the study of place value. This is a great introduction into place value to the thousands place, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.
