In this ongoing class, learners will learn how to read, spell and use 5 Kindergarten sight words per class using the interactive format, Nearpod. Each section of this course will include 5 new / different words from the Kindergarten Dolch sight word list. List of each week's words are listed below. Nearpod is a free app that is accessible on a different device, or split screen on a computer. Nearpod is not required for this course. Slides will be shared on the screen by the teacher for...
Learners will acquire new sight words with each lesson to build their reading and writing skills. The more fluent leaners are in their sight word acquisition, the more fluent and independent they are able to read.
